Life of Matilda, a talented cellist, turns upside down after suicide of her mother. As a result of the tragedy, the heroine of the series begins to doubt about everything she knows about herself. In search of truth she goes to a small Welsh village where a child disappeared mysteriously in 1994. Matilda is helped by her best friend Hal and a local named Nick to make sense of her past. Nick probably is not the person which he seems to be at first sight.
